There are
a variety of natural remedies and medicated hair shampoos. Look
for hair products that contain any of these ingredients:
Chamomile
Will enhance your hairs shine and intensity. Be mindful
Chamomile is not recommended for dyed or colour treated
hair, unless you wish to lighten colour. This means that if your
hair has highlights, hair products with a lot of chamomile may
further enhance these highlights.
Eucalyptus Will help return the scalp into balance
by regulating the production of sebum. It also relieves and reduces
inflamed skin.
Jojoba
oil Contains many of the properties found in sebum,
jojoba helps reduce dryness caused by harsh detergents and replaces
the lost sebum.
Lemongrass
- Also known as Cymbopogon, lemongrass can be used as a great
herbal rinse for all types of hair but for oily hair, lemongrass
balances the active oil glands on your scalp and reduces the production
of oil. Because lemongrass is strong, it's herbs and oils are
not recommended for sensitive scalps as it might irritate the
skin.
Rosemary
oil Regular use of rosemary oil helps in stimulating
follicles, resulting in helping hair grow longer and stronger.
It is also believed that rosemary oil slows down premature hair
loss and graying of hair. Hence it is an excellent tonic for bald
people.
Sage
helps to dissolve built-up deposits of oil and can also
make hair shafts thicker.Sage is often used in a hair rinse. It
can maintain the sheen of hair but makes hair darker so avoid
sage if you have light hair.
Tea tree
oil It is gentle and works to strip excess oil, and
it helps fight dandruff and bacteria.
